Only 1 picture!!!!

Well, I am not going to say it is any better, but I needed to play with this page a lot more and here is where it ended up. The title idea came from miss Sally, from crafty sally (Thanks girl, you rock!) I had to make it a little funny as that is my personality. Not sure how many more digital pages are going to get done for awhile as I am trying to get my actual albums completed. I will try to update with pages that are done when I can. Hope you enjoy my end result, please let me know what your thoughts are on it.....I love all your comments and ideas:) Have a wonderful weekend and keep checking back for what is going on around here!!!

Fall Leaves

For the last few years I have had my girls play in the leaves so I can get their pictures jumping into leaf piles (usually not a push at all since they love to do it!) This year, they had so much fun posing that I had to get those pictures printed as well....not sure which one will be the model, maybe both!!!! I really LOVE how these pages turned out, of course the picture is not showing all the great colors on the stickers :( As you can probably tell, most of my pages don't really have a layout....but those pages are done! I am totally stoked about that fact!!!! Now, Pam has dared me to do a page with only 1 picture (heart racing...big gulps...deep breathing....it will be okay) so my goal is to get one done and posted here, just not sure when. I guess you will just have to keep checking in to see when it gets posted ;) I am loving all of the sweet comments you are leaving, makes me so happy(insert happy dance by Mrs. Williams) and makes my day! Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Papertake Challenge Purple and Green

Here is my take on the challenge issued at Papertake (one of my new favorite sites, thanks Louise!) I decided to go with a layout (courtesy of sketch this) instead of a card since I am trying to get caught up on pages lately. Later this week I will share some of my xmas pages that I am working on today :) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and I will be back with more soon!

"Contraband" Page

Hey all! This is the first page I have done in almost 5 years that is not completely Creative Memories. My main reason for not doing much else besides the little bit of ribbon, flower and a button is that I don't want my pages weighed down and bulky. There is nothing worse than only being able to have a few pages in an album instead of a whole year. I am also a scrapper that HAS to have at least 3 or 4 pictures per page, not sure that I will ever be able to do a page with only 1 picture (gasp!!!) Over time I am sure my pages will become a little more daring, but for now I am happy with how this one page came together.

So, onto the page.....isn't it so cute? This was the very first time my girls had done a wishbone, so of course I had to record it with pictures :) As you can tell my oldest won, which upset the youngest. Oh well, I know they did enjoy this weird tradition I made them try, at least until one of them became the loser ;)

School Bus

Wow! I really am on a roll today:) I am SO excited about how this page turned out, I am so glad I got a chance to do the page as well as the card for the same layout. I hope you enjoy this page as much as I enjoyed making it.

Supplies List:
offset letters, girly fibers and metal glass flower by Marie Stones from freedigitalscrabooking.com
metro freebie clip and both papers by Andrea Designs

I almost forgot to mention that I know what I am doing this weekend, shopping at a LSS Scrapbook Destination during their garage sale. This is going to be so much fun....here is the link to their blog if you are in the area and want to check it out.

Second Card Challenge

Wow! 2 posts in 1 day, I must be butter....cause I am on a roll. Sorry, that was corny, but my hubby always says that and it makes me smile:) This card was made up of another challenge for CPS64 and the colors were all mine. I remember awhile ago Pam made a card that resembled an article of her clothing, and I recently got a shirt that I knew I had to try that with. I hope you can see all the scoring I did on the card, it would be much easier with a scor-pal for sure!!! Of course, I used my favorite stamp set Baroque Motifs, not many of my cards are made without that set! The paper is buckaroo blue and pretty in pink, I stamped with positively pink and versa mark and then used SU! gold embossing powder. I finished it off with some buttons I had and it is just about what I thought it would look like in the end, so I am pretty happy. I hope you have a wonderful day and keep checking in to say HI!

Double Card Challenges

Today I decided to play along with a couple of card challenges that are out there and I really like how they both turned out. The first card is one from my friend Pam, and that was a color inspiration. I love the picture that she chose and picked tempting turquoise, brilliant blue, wild wasabi, white cardstock and white craft ink...all from SU! along with the merry, merry set(retired) This is such a funky card with all the different shapes and colors put together, just don't look too close as you will see how crooked everything is :). I used the sketch from Sketch This #50, my first plan was to do a page, but the card came together so quickly that I went with that one instead. I am going to post the other card on a different post a little later today.....I have to go to work now :( See you all later!
*Updated picture, as I kept looking at it I thought it needed a little more, so I added the white behind the blue.*
