Only 1 picture!!!!

Well, I am not going to say it is any better, but I needed to play with this page a lot more and here is where it ended up. The title idea came from miss Sally, from crafty sally (Thanks girl, you rock!) I had to make it a little funny as that is my personality. Not sure how many more digital pages are going to get done for awhile as I am trying to get my actual albums completed. I will try to update with pages that are done when I can. Hope you enjoy my end result, please let me know what your thoughts are on it.....I love all your comments and ideas:) Have a wonderful weekend and keep checking back for what is going on around here!!!

Fall Leaves

For the last few years I have had my girls play in the leaves so I can get their pictures jumping into leaf piles (usually not a push at all since they love to do it!) This year, they had so much fun posing that I had to get those pictures printed as well....not sure which one will be the model, maybe both!!!! I really LOVE how these pages turned out, of course the picture is not showing all the great colors on the stickers :( As you can probably tell, most of my pages don't really have a layout....but those pages are done! I am totally stoked about that fact!!!! Now, Pam has dared me to do a page with only 1 picture (heart racing...big gulps...deep will be okay) so my goal is to get one done and posted here, just not sure when. I guess you will just have to keep checking in to see when it gets posted ;) I am loving all of the sweet comments you are leaving, makes me so happy(insert happy dance by Mrs. Williams) and makes my day! Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Papertake Challenge Purple and Green

Here is my take on the challenge issued at Papertake (one of my new favorite sites, thanks Louise!) I decided to go with a layout (courtesy of sketch this) instead of a card since I am trying to get caught up on pages lately. Later this week I will share some of my xmas pages that I am working on today :) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and I will be back with more soon!

"Contraband" Page

Hey all! This is the first page I have done in almost 5 years that is not completely Creative Memories. My main reason for not doing much else besides the little bit of ribbon, flower and a button is that I don't want my pages weighed down and bulky. There is nothing worse than only being able to have a few pages in an album instead of a whole year. I am also a scrapper that HAS to have at least 3 or 4 pictures per page, not sure that I will ever be able to do a page with only 1 picture (gasp!!!) Over time I am sure my pages will become a little more daring, but for now I am happy with how this one page came together.

So, onto the page.....isn't it so cute? This was the very first time my girls had done a wishbone, so of course I had to record it with pictures :) As you can tell my oldest won, which upset the youngest. Oh well, I know they did enjoy this weird tradition I made them try, at least until one of them became the loser ;)

School Bus

Wow! I really am on a roll today:) I am SO excited about how this page turned out, I am so glad I got a chance to do the page as well as the card for the same layout. I hope you enjoy this page as much as I enjoyed making it.

Supplies List:
offset letters, girly fibers and metal glass flower by Marie Stones from
metro freebie clip and both papers by Andrea Designs

I almost forgot to mention that I know what I am doing this weekend, shopping at a LSS Scrapbook Destination during their garage sale. This is going to be so much is the link to their blog if you are in the area and want to check it out.

Second Card Challenge

Wow! 2 posts in 1 day, I must be butter....cause I am on a roll. Sorry, that was corny, but my hubby always says that and it makes me smile:) This card was made up of another challenge for CPS64 and the colors were all mine. I remember awhile ago Pam made a card that resembled an article of her clothing, and I recently got a shirt that I knew I had to try that with. I hope you can see all the scoring I did on the card, it would be much easier with a scor-pal for sure!!! Of course, I used my favorite stamp set Baroque Motifs, not many of my cards are made without that set! The paper is buckaroo blue and pretty in pink, I stamped with positively pink and versa mark and then used SU! gold embossing powder. I finished it off with some buttons I had and it is just about what I thought it would look like in the end, so I am pretty happy. I hope you have a wonderful day and keep checking in to say HI!

Double Card Challenges

Today I decided to play along with a couple of card challenges that are out there and I really like how they both turned out. The first card is one from my friend Pam, and that was a color inspiration. I love the picture that she chose and picked tempting turquoise, brilliant blue, wild wasabi, white cardstock and white craft ink...all from SU! along with the merry, merry set(retired) This is such a funky card with all the different shapes and colors put together, just don't look too close as you will see how crooked everything is :). I used the sketch from Sketch This #50, my first plan was to do a page, but the card came together so quickly that I went with that one instead. I am going to post the other card on a different post a little later today.....I have to go to work now :( See you all later!
*Updated picture, as I kept looking at it I thought it needed a little more, so I added the white behind the blue.*

Stamp Camp project

Here is one of the 2 frames I made at Pam's stamp camp Friday night. I also have 2 cards to show you, I will add them later. I was going to put in a picture or a quote, but did not get it done in time. Thanks Pam for another great gift, and my Mom thanks you too!

Zoo Field Trip

I told you the other day I was going to do a page about my Thursday, so here it is.... I might post again later with my projects/cards I made last night at Pam's stamp camp (Thanks again Pam!) I will try to come back through all of these pages and give the names of the products I used to give them proper credit, just don't have time to do it right now. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thanks for checking in to see what I am up to.

Here is the page for our before the game fun! We had some $10 cards to use up before the end of May, so we decided to go while we were already downtown on Monday. I think we played a few games of hoops and 2 games of bowling each....and it was a lot of fun to do as a family :) I played with this page a bit more than the others so it is not perfect, but that is what I like the most about it. It is very busy with colors and I just had to throw a pretty flower in it for a burst of color. I hope you enjoy my creation, I have to say this is becoming an obsession for me. Now I just need to translate all of this fun into a real page for my album and I am all set. Hope you have a great day, I will do another page later from my experience today......let's just say I am very tired and so glad that my girls are 9 and 11.

Go Rockies!!!

This page is from our outing to the Rockies game on Monday night. We had such a good time before the game as well as during the game. If I get a chance I will work on the pictures from before the game and post that page as well. Have I already told you all how much I LOVE digital scrapping? Well, if not, I do! This is so much fun and once I get more used to all of the different things I can do it will take even less time to do, and this one was about an hour. I hope you enjoy this page and have a super day, it is so nice here now after all the rain we had earlier today!!!

*EDITED* AAHH!! As you can probably tell, I figured out how to make the pictures not so blurry, at least on this card. It will probably be hit or miss for now, but I am so happy you can really see this card!!!

I did this card for Taylor's card sketch challenge, not that I am doing it to win anything....I just love the ideas from sketches. I used all SU! papers and stamps for this card, sorry for it being so blurry. I guess I need to play around with my camera and different lighting and stuff to get them to turn out better. Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for checking in, maybe later today I will get another digital page done before we head to the Rockies game.

Bubble Fun Page

Here is my second digital page that I completed today. I am having a lot of fun playing around with different layouts and number of pictures that I use on a page. I have a confession to make....I take pictures in groups, as if I have a layout in my head for the page(s) So that means I look at the situation and figure out that I need at least 5 pictures per page and any over that I probably won't use, that does not mean I don't take more pictures....I am just very picky when printing them out. Anyone else do that or am I alone in my weird ways??? So with all that said, it is kind of fun using only a few pictures from what I have to choose from. That way I have more options on layouts and pretties, which are my new favorite thing!!! I hope that you enjoy my latest creation and are looking forward to more in the near future!
Have a super day :)

Card Challenge

I got a chance to stamp last night so I decided to use the CPS62 challenge and the color inspiration given by KWerner. I went with the basics on this one, and I love how it turned out. Anyway, the colors are chocolate chip on the background layer, bashful blue(I did not have any sky blue so I had to cheat on that one) which I stamped close to cocoa on with my new stamp, THANKS PAM! Then I used a strip of close to cocoa and very vanilla so that I used all the colors. I really do love the simplicity of the card and the colors are SO great....gee, now who to send this to?!?
Thanks for looking and have a super day!
